2 Shareholders started Brewdog in 2007 to challenge the status quo in the beer market and now have grown to a company of 1 000 staff, 46 bars (and growing) and 70 000 shareholders.
In their quest to get people away from the standard off the shelf lagers and to educate people on the art of making and tasting beer, they have launched a “Beer School” concept.
We have arranged for a certified beer expert to guide us through some of their headliners and will give us an insight on how to taste beer, how it is brewed, what it typically consists of and what cheeses would go extremely well with it. To ensure we are not too thirsty, we obviously have arranged to taste 4 of their beers and nibble on the matching cheeses.
For the non-beer drinkers, or for the ones not drinking alcohol, alternatives can be provided in the form of wine, some mixers, alcohol free beer and soft drinks.
